Wow I just realized it has been way too long since I have updated this blog! Kevin and I have been so very busy with all the excitement of the year. We have added and updated a ton of costumes and are getting ready for all the holiday fun! Booking has been crazy for the snow sisters and all their friends this past year with the popularity of their story. We now book them almost constantly. We even get excited when we get to book different characters as the sisters fill most our weekends. As the year draws to a close, we continue to be so grateful to our ever loyal fan base and clients. There is no way that we could help so many people and have so much fun if it was not for you. By supporting our business you are supporting the dreams and wishes of not only the kids in your life, but it allows us to touch the lives of kids all over Las Vegas and even the world. We have gotten the opportunity to visit so many families that need a special moment in their life, whether donating our time to be at charity walks and public events or one-on-one moments with kids too sick to leave their rooms. We are eternally grateful that we have been able to touch so many lives. I feel so blessed to have such a fabulous set of people to work with. Each individual has contributed so much to our little company to make it so much better. We cannot wait for 2015 to arrive as we are ready to hit the ground running in making it a memorable year. Thank you for everything. <3 Summer & Kevin |

What a fantastic weekend it was here at Las Vegas Princess & Character Visits! We had a grand time getting together our brand new Tinker Fairy costume! Then this Sunday she and our Sponge bob mascot got to spend some time with London and all of her friends! Afterwards our Scottish Princess and Frog Princess headed to a fancy party with Miss Ashlee! They loved face painting and all of the games! We always strive to make all of our parties magical for the kids, which is why we provide lots of different party package options and add on's to customize your special day! We are also adding on our new party packages for each face character which follows them along the characters journey. For example with Rapunzel the kids get to experience how it was living in the castle and painting all day long, then meeting Prince Rider and experiencing the excitement of the city square along with crafts games and prizes and last but not least with weather permitting letting a lantern into the sky for the birthday girls birthday just likes Rapunzel! Each character we have has a specific package built for their journey and we cant wait to experience them with you and your loved ones! ~Princess Summer This weekend had so much variety! First off I got to go be my pirate princess Blaze at a super fun party for Hayden! He was turning 5 and we painted the kids a pirates, vampires, skeletons and butterflies, made balloon swords and parrots who actually sat on their shoulder and took lots of fun photos! At one point I even got challenged to a pirate duel and we spent about 5 minuted battling to the plank with our balloon swords! Last weekend Rapunzel joined about 30 little friends out on an ice rink! We realized that we would love to come ice skating at your next party or event! Characters that can ice skate include: Rapunzel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (in Blue), Alice, Clown, Nancy Fancy, Toy Cow Girl, Holly the Christmas Elf, and our Pirate Princess Blaze. Just give us a call to book! Last but never least Cinderella got to surprise a wonderful little girl for her 4th birthday! Cinderella came early to the party so that when Jetta arrived at her grandmothers house Cinderella opened the door! I had so much fun playing all the games and having Jetta lead us in a princess parade all around the house. I think she especially enjoyed the story I told about my dream wedding to my prince charming. It was such a fabulous weekend! Yesterday I had the privilege to attend a special birthday for Ariel. She did not want a princess like most, oh no- she loved fashion and her friends, so she decided to invite over Miss Frankie Stein! We had never done a party with a character from Monster High before, so we here at LVPV were super excited to get a chance to use this new character! Once Ariel's mom booked the party we started right into our research-from exactly how the character dresses, to how she walks, talks, and interacts with all of her friends at school. We then got all the materials to make the perfect outfit! We try to bring the highest quality to our costumes by professionally making our own costumes and accessories to get it as close to the character as possible. After the costume was finished the hard part began. The makeup. I had never done full body paint before but I was not going to let that deter me. After multiple paint tests and hours of mixing colors, we finally got the mint green hue of Frankie's skin. On the day of the party, I was so excited. It took about 3.5 hours to get into full costume and makeup, but it was so worth it. When Ariel and her friends opened the door they were awestruck. They were so excited they keep me from closing the door behind me with all kinds of questions about school and my friends! After giving Ariel her certificate and gift, I told them all about my friends and classes and family. We then played a game and had a fabulous fashion show. It was absolutely wonderful! I don't think I wanted to leave! After spending a half hour I had to go and visit some more friends but I am so happy that I got the opportunity to make another exciting character come to life! I am so excited to be a princess! I have been working with kids for years and now I have found a way to make their faces light up even more. I always find it challenging to get all my costumes perfect and makeup just right but it is worth it when I arrive and hear the kids gasp. I always find that no matter how sad I get, that the moment I get to start planning a party or event everything gets infinitely better. As the years go by I realize more and more that I love doing this for the kids. The light in their eyes, the smiles, the kids that truly believe that they can grow up into wonderful people to better help others. I love this. I hope that I can bring this happiness to all the kids I meet whether its at a party or just a quick visit, this is my goal. ~Princess Summer |
